    Default Still Hanging In

Yesterday was a low day for us, only 125 gallons collected. But we are better then last year at this point. Have bottled up 21 gallons to date. Froze up last night here, hoping to go past Sunday.

I hope so. Sugar content was only at one yesterday and the day before. Must be getting close to spring, just had forty turkeys in the back field with three large Tom's strutting around and doing the thing to the hen that they could get. Pretty sad I know, been in the sugar house to long

I second that! Looking at the Accuweather for my area In expecting the third wave of sap production to hit his this week. No sign of bud-break, no peepers, still a good 6" to 12" of snow in the woods.

It froze up here in Littleton but not enough for any real sap run for me. Tonite looks better though. Some reports are saying in the teens up here.!
