MapleLady, QUICK come help me! I've just taken off a giant stock pot full of as-close-as-I-dare-to-go 'nearup' and it is sitting beside the stove waiting for its turn. In the meantime I'm boiling, boiling, boiling on my two turkey fryers. I had to change the location of my set-up today as the wind is vicious! I'm now set-up outside the garage doors with the cars strategically placed to block the wind - but not close enough to get covered in sticky steam. That would end my sugaring fun pronto! Don't want to get into trouble by messing up the cars.
