Good to hear you're off to a good start. Been watching the weather at home here in Southern Indiana, and thinking about heading down to our cabin next week. Long term forecast looks good, hope it holds up. Cabin is in Butler County, outside of Morgantown on the Green River. Last year managed to squeeze in about 4-5 days of sap collecting there during what seemed like the only cold snap. Hoping all the snow we had here in Bloomington after Christmas is a good omen for the rest of the season.

2010- 6 taps & untold hours boiling over stove, gas grill & open fire. Two gallons bottled & family & friends received early Christmas gifts!
2011- 18 taps & a home built arch (old filing cabinet with steam table pans)
2012- 25+ taps and teaching a Parks & Rec course on Maple Syrup (Yikes!)
Tapping trees here in Bloomington and at a family cabin in Butler County, KY.
