    How many taps can you run with one of this?

    Brian, I picked up one but didn't get it set up for last season. I've heard several people say it's good up to 300 taps.
    2 x 6 Grimm raised flue for 2012 season. Rebuilding a 3 x 13 for 2013. 51 Ford 8N, St. Bernard, 30+ chickens.

    Brian if your future plan is to have 2000 taps it would be well worth the investment to purchase a double releaser. New or used. They are very reliable and operate on higher than 15-18" vac. You won't regret it. That being said, yes 250*300 taps is probably the max, yet I had 800 on the larger Bender and 400 on the small jar. If you max them out you tend to have sap backing up unless you create a manifold ahead of your Bender. There are some previous posts and pics in March 2012 here on the Trader.

    can you make a bender work on 25" vac. if so how?

    Absolutely. You need to add some weight to the float or the float rod. 2 each 5/8 hex nuts (food grade, of course) along with the original weight did it for me.
