Default Chalk one up for the good guys!

A fellow syrup producer did a 3 county area a great service by helping the cops get 4 cabin thieves the other night in ours and his sugar bush area/road. He had things missing the night before so he decided to "stake out" his sugar shack by sitting in his cabin to see if they were dumb enough to come back....... They were.... He was only there 15 minutes right at dark time when a vehicle pulled up with a spot light! Long story short he followed them with his headlights off as they stopped at cabin to cabin, being that he is a firefighter he was able to give a play by play to dispatch as he was following them like a stealth bomber. Since this is a remote area, it took awhile for the cops to get there. As they went across a main county road and onto the next gravel road the Lincoln county cops came to tie up the loose ends. Turns out it is two 17 year olds and two younger kids. Also i heard they were thrill killing wild game so the D.N.R is also involved. The two 17 year olds are being charged as adults so i hope they throw the book at them punks. Big thank you and hats off to Brian for takeing the time and effort to catching these @#^%$#$ punks.

They should have to serve four years in the Army. It's safe to say their parents did a poor job in raising them so let the Army turn them into men.

Brian, Hats off and a deep bow!
What you did was nerve wracking and courageous at the same time.
I'm honored to have a friend who takes his civic responsibility so seriously.

My friend studied criminal justice and I remember the statistic he said that almost 75% of petty thieves/vandals go back to the scene of a crime repeatedly. Idiots. Glad you caught the low lifes

Although it might be exactly what they need, it's unlikely the military would accept them. They've mostly stopped taking people with criminal records or with pending charges a while ago. Between the rise in patriotism after Sept 11th and the high unemployment, they've been able to meet their recruiting goals without taking (and having to break) the misfits.
