3rd Boil Starting...
Well I have around 38 gallons of Sap I have to boil this weekend of loose and I'm stoking the fire and jumping in the shower then heading out for my last boil on a turkey fryer before I get my new Leader Half Pint next Week!
I just am really hoping it's not my last boil of the season even though the weather forecast is looking like it...
2012- Can't Remember 1st year...
2013- 41 taps made 13 Gallons of Syrup
2014- 20 taps made 5.5 Gallons of Syrup
2015- 43 Taps made 10 Gallons of Syrup
2016- 43 Taps...
9 1/2 Hours and only 13 Gallons left out of 41 Gallons!
Glad this is my last boil on a Turkey Fryer!
Looks to be a Darker Batch today too!
