Default Do they run all night?

Don't recall ever having weather like this, as this is only our 5th year.

It is going to be very warm all night, and the trees just started to run.

With themps in the upper 30's tonight, will the tress run all night?

I kind'a need to know as if they do We'll need to go and gather before work tomorrow.

    Thanks!

"Work" is that paying obligation/distraction that gets in the way of sugaring...and fun...and...

And, yes - they can and do run all night.

I'll be checking some of my heavy hitters in the morning to see if I need to collect the rest. Nothing like a fast paced run through the woods at daybreak to wake you up.

Oh yes. I've made that run before. Underdressed, no boots, stumbling all over. You think on your way to work, "I'll just stop and check this one bucket", next thing you know you're 1/4 mi. from the car, racing from tree to tree.
And yes, they can run all night.

Sure I'll get up and go fetch the sap, as I'm thinkin' many of my pails will be brimming.

I hope you folks fared better than me. It should've run all night here as well. But looks like my trees didn't get the memo.

Praying that today will more than make up for it. Supposed to get up to the 40-50s. But I seem to be in my own little microclimate or something.
