I saw the duct work designed to go between the studs inside and wall and thought it would work well. Here's how it turned out, I haven't run it yet, but thought others might be interested!

That what I'm doing also, but might I suggest that you seal around the duct work with duct tape( not the gray stuff, real foil duct tape)
custom made 2x7 intensofire

where did you purchase the blower, price and what size is it?
I was considering the tape, but wasn't sure how long it would last under there...
As for the blower, I robbed it from a wood insert stove we don't use any more. Not sirree if it has enough cfm. I have a large blower from a wood furnace, but I am afraid that may be too big. I have a reostat (sp?) On the, then maybe I'll try the big one...

I have a furnace blower and it works great. the wiring has three speeds...just try each color with the hot wire and get the lowest speed. You can also just rivet a piece of tin to the outside and control the flow by sliding it over the intake back and forth. Don't use a dimmer switch to control it, you'll burn hot spots in the lower rpm range. First hand knowledge on that goof!
