    Default protect your pans

Just a suggestion to those like me who have tapped, put a heat source in the arch the next couple days. It is going to get very cold and pans are expensive. I cover the pans with a sheet of plywood and put a light in the firebox. I had ice forming today in the fluepan already. KEEP WARM

I had some ice too so lit a tiny fire to melt it, boiled all my sap, chased it with water and going to drain and use this cold spell to clean the pan. its flat so maybe easier than you flue pan guys.
