Pulled in over 4000 gals of sap since Saturday night. Yesterday filled a couple barrels and was feeling fine. Last night was a bit tough, guess I may have over done it, but back to it this morning. For some darn reason I just don't know when to quit.

Collected 4,750 gals today and made 94 gals of syrup. Best single boil total ever for me. Surgery is tomorrow morning so no sap, reports from me for awhile.

7,000 gals sap processed Sunday and Monday to 158 gals of maple syrup. Got through the surgery today and hanging in the hospital for the night. This coming weekend looks good for sap. I have a couple days to rest before then.

My prayers are with you. May you conquer it this time!
Dave Klish, I recently ordered a 2x6 wood fired evaporator from A&A Sheet Metal which I will be converting to oil fired
Now have solar, 2x6 finish pan, 5 bank 7x7 filter press, large water jacketed bottler, and tankless water heater.
Recently bought another Gingerich RO, this one was a 125, but a second membrane was added thus is a 250, like I had.
    After running a 2x3, a 2x6, 3x8 tapping from 79 taps up to 1320 all woodfired, now I'm going to a 2x6 oil fired and a 200-425 taps.

Much better today, just waiting to be released. I'll take a couple days to reset then big sap come Sunday! Switched out my oberdorfer pump for an aro diaphragm pump just in time. Now to get some spare tanks at the saphouse.

Two days after surgery I was back in the woods collecting sap and roing it, I'll boil tomorrow. Most of the run I gave to another producer, he started the vac pumps in thunderstorms. To the doctor today to find out what the plan is for the next couple months.

Bad news from the doctor today. Cancer is worse than before. I'll be able to sugar till April then it's a tough road for awhile. Tomorrow it's back to work and concentrate on filling barrels.
