    Default ohio maple days jan 28

    I will be attending the maple days meeting on saturday jan 28. if any one has questions about tubing i would be glad to help if i can. steve childs will be give a presentation on tubing, but i will be around if someone would like to get an installers opinion on something. look forward to chatting with other maple producers in my area.

    Can you tell me a little about the trade show?
    12X16 Sugarhouse and 16x24 attached woodshed
    1000 taps
    120 3/16 tubing
    And still some buckets
    Becker U5.70 Rotary vane
    Leader 2X8 Reverse oil fired, Revolution Pans & Steam a way
    Lapierre Turbo 2000 600 GPH RO
    Leader Clear frame filter press
    John Deere Gator 6X4
    Indy 500 and a very large sled.

    It was excellent. We had a good trade show. I think the key point I walked away with is to look at making Maple Cotton (candy), as you can make about $450 a gallon for it (if you have a market). It would be great for Maple Tour days and County Fairs.
