    Default 4x4 front pan

Have a friend wanting to bring his grandfathers sugarhouse back online after a 20 yr break. front pan has been burnt and has pin holes. I question the integrity of the back pan but he thinks its all right. If anyone could help him out w a front pan or set of pans i think it is a good thing to bring new folks (back) into the buisness
    his arch is 4x14

That is a big arch for people to have spare pans lying around for, though maybe someone has something to contribute to a new startup...

You could make some pans out of steel for now, it is fine for boiling ( clean them well ), they can be either welded or lead-free soldered. They are much cheaper and you could run them a couple of years and then upgrade to stainless. Those old pans are likely leaded which is not considered a good thing anymore.

Good luck bringing the sugarhouse back !
