Just trying to lighten the load a bit so I can wrap up some well intentioned projects... including my personal maple site which would never stand up to my own review.

Have you tried using the Maple Gallery to upload your photos to?
Same problem for me. I went through the Gallery. I was able to create an album, but clicking the [Upload Photos] link gave me the "Sorry, you don't have permission to upload photos." error.
