When you break into the 60 to 70 cc range then you are getting into the big boys lol. Nice saw though. 49cc 3.1 hp 12500 rpms should be a cutting machine. Just dont forget to run nothing but high octane through it.

Congrats on the new saw Chumlee. Just bought a Stihl MS290 Farm Boss myself. It's always nice to upgrade once in awhile.

The 2159/359 has no torque its a rpm horsepower saw like its sister the 2156/357 3/8 chain is ok on a 16" bar but .325 chain on a 18" or a 20" will actually cut faster than the same saw equipped with 3/8 chain. .325 chain has more cutters per foot than 3/8 ( .375) narrower kerf chain allows saws with more hp less torque to cut faster just my experience of working with and selling these saws for years.

Just remember... the Jeep is supposed to fit in the garage, not the garage in the Jeep.

They say they no longer sell Jonsered saws in Canada now. It's all Husky now.I have a 2163 and it works great untill the muffler dropped off.I have to get the bottom of the studs out of the block now and try and buy new studs to remount the muffler.Tried to run it with no muffler but even being deaf it was way to loud.
    maybe 50 taps for 2011
Finally ready to boil when I get enough sap
I just might be crazy.( make that I know I am)
Trees all tapped except the ones with 5 feet of snow.
Enough rabbits to keep Elmer busy..

Dont run it without the muffler Ken. Not only will you catch the woods on fire and go deaf you might kill the saw. Sounds like you need a set of easy-outs. Find the size that fits match it up with the drill bit size stamped on the side and drill straight and true, stick the easy out in and extract the stud.
