Good luck and have fun. My wife and I enjoy the time we spend together collectimg sap and boiling it. The kids like helping when their not busy doing their thing. This is our 3rd year and are up to 52 taps.

2009 20 taps, buckets & plastic jugs, evap on fireplace in yard, finish on stove, total yield of 1-3/4 gallons
2010 14 taps, plastic jugs, homemade 55 gal barrel evap, finish on stove, total 1 gallon
2011 55 taps, (42 on buckets, 13 on tubing-gravity), homemade 55 gal barrel arch with 24" x 32" flat pan, finish on stove, total 12 gallons
2012 90 taps (all on tubing), homemade 55 gal barrel arch with 24" x 32" flat pan, temporary "sugar shack"
