    Default Tapping Newbie

I am new to tapping and the making of maple syrup. Last year, I watched as my neighbors in northern WI made syrup. My wife and I decided we are going to give it a try this year with the help of my cousin who has been making syrup for years. I have been tapping a few trees since last week and now have several gallons of sap waiting to be boiled this weekend. My question is can the sap be froze until the weekend? I would like to place a few of the gallons in my freezer but am unsure if freezing a a good idea. Any help is appreciated.

Freezing it is the best thing to do, when collecting frozen buckets keep ice blocks to put in your reserve tank to keep sap cool untill boiling. You maybe new at it, but you have already understand that we never want to spoiled sap
