    Default So who's got syrup???

Slow start this year!!! but finally picking up the pace!!! what are your syrup totals so far???

I got sweetened pans but no syrup yet. I will be boiling probably everyday the rest of the week except for today. As long as the sap keeps running that is!!!
may your sap be at 3%

so far I have around 20 gals...most of it very light...some even lighter than the fancy grade...don't worry though...you guys are gonna outpace me very quickly...my red maple in the yard already has buds the size of my pinkie nail...I probably only have around 2-3 weeks left

thats ok your not too far away!!!

Got 170gals to boil for tomorrow. my pans are super sweet and my sap is 2% so I should get at least 3-4 gallons tomorrow. thank goodness. talking to a guy near me and they have 350 on gravity most trees in full sun and they 15-20 gallons as well. I am in a cools spot usually what ever the weather guy says I am a few degrees cooler.

Have 1 gallon of syrup so far. Pans are sweet though and I have about 100 gallons sitting, waiting to be boiled. Yesterday was a good sap run for me. Lot of full buckets. But with 140 taps, I feel like I should be getting way more sap. Some of my trees ran for the first time yesterday so I think the trees are still thawing out from all the heavy snow fall. Hope it keeps running.

We're at close to 50 gal total, but ~10 gal is owed to a friend who brought sap over to boil.

Last year's total production was 83 gal and 9 chord of wood. I was looking at the wood pile yesterday and I don't think we've burned much over a 1/2 chord of wood and I'm only concentrating to 6-8%...loving it.

I've got half a gallon and Robbie's got zero. The Locke probably about 10 gallons so far. Pretty slow in Northwood.
