Not looking good here either for the next 10 day forecast. cold, ice, snow, freezing rain, plenty of snow on the ground here already. i got one tap in over the weekend just for fun.. will wait awhile yet for the rest.

Drilled 440 CVs on vacuum last Friday on snow shoes. Need to set up 2 Gast pumps and hook up releaser in sap house. Also need to hook up ten or so saddles.

Ground is froze solid here yet, after this last ice storm while going out to take care of my birds you gotta wear cleats, ground does not break away under you and is like one big skating rink.. gonna be a weird season this year i think..weathermen(computer models) keep changing things around..

Yeah. I woke up at 6 thismorning planning on tapping. But i caught the weather on the news and the temps are going back into the teens plus the rain and wind today. Maybe next weekend
