Need help with our maple peanut butter. Should we boil syrup, and to what temp? Do you add peanut butter to the hot syrup and bring it up to same temp in order to seal it in the jars?

Lucky you we collected 510 gallons of sap Sunday and made 5 quarts of syrup. Best thing is our evaporator is sweet now.

Last Nov. at LEME in Albion they talked about different fuels and propane was one they said was high in BTU's. We use fuel oil and would like to investigate other fuels.
