Where do other producers get building plans for building? Any recommendations in Vermont? Looking for larger Sugarhouse/RO area/Sap tanks/Vacuum pump plans. Rebuilding. Old Sugarhouse is 40 yrs old.

. It sounds like it's just right. The fridge does stiffen the maple cream up and leaving it out for awhile will soften it to be spreadable.

I'd pack it and wait a few days. You will see the batch gets creamy on its own. I purposely make the maple cream thick so it has a longer shelf life.
Name something that isn't expensive when it's associated with maple sugaring! CDL makes a nice maple cream machine, I've seen it work and the end product is very good.
The reason I bought the Hobart is the local elementary school was selling it. It is a 20 quart floor model. Probably all kinds would work as long as they were powerful enough.
