We're on boil 4. Brought in 150L from around 70 taps today-Saturday late day (not the planned number of taps but things got in the way). Round 1 was amber. Rest have been progressively darker....
Our joke is that we already call it California Spring Gold Rush already! (and then we have the California Fall Gold Rush with our honey in autumn)
Curious if there is anyone in Ontario or even Canada to get that Murphy Float. Smoky Lake isn't shipping to Canada at the moment.

I used sap this spring to make maple water kefir and maple kombucha. Both scobies love the sap instead of cane sugar...

Well we are done. Sap changing colours now. Did 40L this year on 40 spiles on 18 trees so 1L finished syrup per spile. All same colour. Cannot do more unless we up the equipment as we still bucket...

So forgot to post pics of finished product from 1st 12L yield. We also handbalm (well with 4wheeler help now). Limit is hours and pan size still working 1 large pan on 3 burner stove. Old sugar shack...
