Today is most likely my last boil. I’m in Southbury. Was a good season! Probably my best yet at 4 gallons. Hoping today gives me some dark syrup. I have plenty of amber.

I tapped this week and was hoping for a big run today. Didn’t get much out of my 40 taps and all of my taps are leaking. I used a new 5/16 maple bit and didn’t drive the tap too hard. I don’t get it....
