    Getting 13+ gph on my 2x4. Burning pallets and half the insulation you have. You should do better. I run 3/4 inch in the pan. Gets scary bellow that. Keep up the good work.

    You'll notice a hotter fire. Tractor supply has generic fire place grates.

    hi, check out pics from thread "one brick short". This is how I bricked my mason. Ramp is 2 inches from bottom of pan. works really well.

    Also, you might consider hi temp insulation. Between the bricks and barrel. This will keep more heat under you pan. Nice job!

    I use leader tree saver 5/16 taps. With a 2-3 inch piece of tubing. They do not seem to swing as much in the wind. You can find pictures here and on YouTube. Showing good examples of these. Good luck.
