Tasted a little off while boiling this morning so emptied back pan to front and boiled it down with permeate in back. What we finished this evening tasted fine. Just dark. Ended with 952 off 2100...

Found 300 gallons of milky 1%. Let it go. Boiled in rig last night. Now for the cleanup.

Made another 25 tonight. DR. Very heavy maple taste no off flavor. Still running lightly. Going to try again tomorrow....

Made 15 gallons of very dark. Froze good last night but did not run great. Not sure if it was strong south wind or if the trees are done. Still running. See what tomorrow brings. Still no off flavor...

Made 20 gallons of dark robust this morning from previous 24 hour’s sap. Finally stopped running at 29 early this morning with slush in releaser. Started running about 8:00. Hoping for more....

Light coating of snow last night. Only got down to 31°. Did not stop running. Got maybe 1/3 gallon/ tap. Supposed to be 28 tonight.......

Boiled twice yesterday. Close to 80 gallons. About 27 today. Today we finally made some dark robust. Not looking like a good freeze coming so not sure how much longer. Still filtering ok and flavor...

Got down to 30 early morning. Started running by 8:30. Can't believe how well it ran today with temps in mid 30's and wind. Down to 31 now and still running a little. Should get a decent freeze...

Pulled in about 1 gpt since yesterday am. We hit 1/3 gallons/tap on syrup last night. Sugar going down.

We made about 60 gallons tonight and 50 on Sunday. Tanks are not empty but the RO needed clean so we will start again in the AM. Looks like it will run all night here. Already warming up.
