Use a johnson or ranco control. These are only rated for 8 or 10 amps so depending on your motor you may need to fire a contactor with temp controller for more amperage capability.

When picking line sizes maybe consider using just 2 different sizes so you have less fittings and tubing on hand. We only use 1in and 1.5in, makes fitting and hose clamp inventory simpler
We use a couple cheap air comp heads, just remove air filters and hook up vac line. Make sure crankcase is vented or it will build vac and pull oil through rings. 25,26 inches no problem. Cfm is cfm...
How long is your 1.5 line that you pump through. We trash pump through a 300ft 1.5in line and it slows pump down, in hind sight i should have put in 2in line.
I use huntstand app for mapping distances and you can also see property boundries and who owns what. It was 10$ but very worth it. I believe there are other hunting apps also
With 650ft of 3/4 pipe plus 15feet of elevation and 300 gal/hr your total head pressure is around 70ft. The small pipe is the issue, its restricting pump. Out of your 70 ft of headpressure only 15 is...
We had 3 small flat top hooked togeter at bottom. It was a pain so we sold them and got enough money for 1 bigger used h2o sap tank.
To hook them together u could drill or cut a big hole through...
Kawasaki mule pro fx. Biggest bed, only goes 45 but great for work machine. Fits 3 adults in single cab. Going into 3rd season with mine and no issues yet. Has 2000hrs. I would def buy another one.
I think it will work fine. We put a 3/8 air diaphragm pump on a full bank wesfab. It works great. Ours was also rated around 5gpm. I think it was around $450 but cant remember brand. Its a high temp...
The $16 link looks right. Thats an awesome price id buy 2. Sometimes the key breaks or the plastic part where it clamps breaks. Always good to have spare
We would get about 3gpm of permeate on raw sap starting off by the time it got to 8% it would drop in half. Ran 300psi
Ive built a few. We had 3 4x40 xle in series on a procon 330 with 2hp motor. Didnt have recirculation pump on it but worked good. You prob wont get 8% without a recirc valve puting concentrate back...
Need to check your amps with everything running. If motors are starting hard due to low voltage and voltage drop over the 300 feet of distance a buck boost transformer can jump up your voltage at the...
Procon 3540 adapter kit converts from clamp on to 56c motor. Try midwest ro or internet
Could stack 2 totes and leve some water in bottom tote. Or put a stack of good pallets under tote. Or build 4x4/6x6 wooden frame with cross supports like x's
Vane pumps and piston pump are positive displacement. They will give the same relstive flow at different pressure. More pres requires more hp. Multistage or other centrifugal pumps have pump curves...
Mead maple: hope you didnt give up on your question. The pressure pump builds your high pressure but at a lower flow rate while the recirc pump moves sap in a loop through membrane while under that...
Wmick: i read your link to lappiere. Good read. I see it recomends mot concentrating past 70% in beginning and uses 75% as an example in the testing procedure. This is very typical in maple ros. I...
I tried a 3600rpm motor on one by accident. Lasted 10 min. Flowed real good for 10 min though
15 percent rejection rate means 85 percent pure water gets through and 15 percent of feed water is wasted, rejected to drain, in a water purification system. In maple the reject waste is our...
done it both ways. i vote series
too much friction loss over that distance 1/2" pipe will definitely solve that and should be about 3 times faster than your 5/16. 500' of 5/16 has 2 gallons in it and the 1/2" will have 5 galllons
Heres what we made, 1/2hp feed pump to a procon 330gph with 1.5hp motor which feeds two ss 4040 end clamp housings with xle membranes. We feed in parallel, we run 250-300psi and average 120gph of...
I agree. The idea just didn't seem cost effective, your basically making an air compressor so that's the road I headed down. wdchuck is right, an air compressor is an air pump that's made to...
I thought the same thing so I took carb off of a cheap 6.5hp harbor freight motor and made a adapter to pipe thread put on a vac gauge and spun it with electric motor. It didn't work that well, gauge...
