    Total for me this year was 238 gallons on 880...

    Total for me this year was 238 gallons on 880 taps . 1/2 on vacuum. 85 of the total tap count were 3/16 added 1/2 way through the season. I'm certainly happy with the production this season.

    Running pretty good here right now on vacuum....

    Running pretty good here right now on vacuum. Atmospheric pressure has dropped with this low coming in. I suspect that has helped. Probably my last boil tomorrow.

    You know I was thinking the same thing as 325abn . I've seen times when the sap is barely running, and you turn the vacuum on and things really come in . Once it's started nature will take over .
