I found the Selkirk product line the cheapest when I was looking. You can also call their technical help line to get information on your install.
I also found their manual helpful....
As promised. Hard to get a good view with the truss' in the way.

These are what I used for louvers:

They swivel. It's 3 truss widths long, so about 4'. The opening is...
It's tough to find "plans" for a cupola.
I made a box section that would just fit between the roof truss' and then secured the box to the truss'. I used louvered fence sections horizontally to...
imgur needs a couple steps. Right click on image -> get image link -> paste that between the img tags
I think bbimg will give you the code directly.

I don't know why they don't just kill the hosting of pictures on this site. It's very clunky.
I don't reuse them. One of the benefits of the bags is not having to clean them at the end of the year.
Probably not that environmentally friendly, I agree.
I don't test TDS very often. At the start of the year to make sure my membranes weren't damaged over the summer somehow, and then not much. I would test more if I saw a problem, but I've had no issue...
I have a similar size operation to you. I don't bother using permeate to rinse/wash the membranes. I just bring the RO into the house and use a 5 gallon bucket in the bathtub for rinse/wash/acid. I...

So no comments on the type of hydrometer I mentioned above? Seems as easy to use as a murphy cup since there are no charts to reference. You just see where the thermometer line lines up with the top...
Does anyone use the hydrometers with the built in thermometer? Such as

So I bought the coffee urn type of dispenser for this and it was the wrong size. The 9" output is all 1/2" tubing size, and I bought the 3/4" coupler with the coffee urn adapter. I'll need to return...
Do you use some type of defoamer? On my barrel stove, I can't get to syrup without it foaming and overflowing the pan. I take it off the stove and finish inside when I can't keep the foam down.

I always thought it was just the new wood physically blocking the radiant heat from the coals until the new wood catches fire.
I've started placing the prefilters inside the cap, not between the cap and the body. There may be some not covered around the edges but the center of the filter is mostly covered. Since I filter off...
Too late now, but I wouldn't have used DE for the first try. It has never worked for me.
Would those work though? As far as I can tell, the CDL vacuum filter has a 3/4" male fitting on the bottom.
edit: looks like you'd just need a coupling......
Do you have a a nozzle small enough to fit in the bottle, or do you use a small funnel (like I have to)?
I built a 10x12 shack for my barrel evaporator and planning to upgrade to oil tank evaporator. 10' is probably the minimum width.
I wired in a bunch of outlets and ran it to an external outdoor...
I tried using a step drill bit but it wore out very quickly.
I agree that letting it settle for a week is the best/easiest way for the small producer to filter.
Also, when using cone filters, use the "center punched up" method to enable full use of the...
