I used lzt from eBay. Works fine. Although right now they are not listing a 0-10gpm model.
Are you using the same type of flowmeter as on my panel or some type of inline meter?
My experience as well
Thanks for all the input !!!!
I experience as well.
Should I tie into a existing flowmeter or add another?
I am thinking of putting in a recirculation side to my homemade ro. If installing the needle valve on the concentrate side. Where do I plumb the lower end or where does it feed into?
Right before...
I am building a 100 gph ro using a dow filmtec tw30 4040 membrane. I am trying to decide which procon stainless pump to use and the correct electric motor. A 1hp pump matched with the correct pump...

Good day on vacuum over here at Sandstone. One of the better we've had. I'll keep running the pumps until sap is bad.

It was 2% all season this year for us. Muddy footprint in Moose lake had the same .
Last year it was all 3 and 3 1/2%.
One gallon of pan cleaner (10.00) would be cheaper or the same cost and do the job quicker.
Good to know I am following this thread as I had the same question. Going to 400 to 500 taps next spring on vacuum. RO to 6/7%. And retire in 15 days--Focus on syrup.
I was taking 2% to 6.5 on one pass all season.
Drain, flush loose crap with water,
fill to boiling height with water,
dump in one gallon of pan cleaner.
Light small fire bring to about 120/140 degrees F.
Walk away for 5 to 6 hours.

I usually make about three gallons at a time or roughly around 40/50 containers. I freeze it and usually sell out with in 6 months or less. It keeps easily for a year in a freezer with no ill...
A new high efficiency 2 x 6 and RO,RO,RO,RO -- At 225 taps mine hardy gets fired up at all I am planning on running 500 taps next year and have calculated I still would only be boiling 5 to 6...
I have a 12 x 16--way too small, in four years , At least 20 x 20 or bigger. I am adding on a 8 x 12 bottling room to elevate some crowding. You cannot build to big.
Good luck--

All done --ended the season with 2000 gallons of sap on 225 taps and around 50 gallons of syrup. Burned about two fireplace cords of wood, ro'ed all sap that was running at 2% to 6.5--7. Never...
