We didn't get that kind of snow. The first boil in the pan went great. Didn't need to laddle between pans. I just had to occasionally adjust the sap flow in the pan.

I increased to 51 taps this year from 32 last year. The smaller filter setup may be a good solution for me was well. I would be interested to see how that works on a smaller scale.
