    Anyone out there doing anything for noise reduction on old dairy vac pumps - (de laval 77). I'm thinking of building an insulated box for it, but then worried about the box getting too hot for good...

    I'm at 2000 taps now, so it seems like 8 bank is a little overkill for me... Especially if I have to replace papers and DE everytime I press.

    I can usually draw off around 6 gal of syrup per hour...
