Thanks for the answers, it seems like a leak nightmare to me. I just can't figure way they would do it.
I've seen a few videos of some big producers using quick connects on their drops , collecting them at the end of the season with sprouts on. Do they reuse after washing? Or do they just make new...

Well looking at the forecast for next week I made the call to pull the taps while I can walk on the snow with out snow shoes. Season turned out pretty normal for me. The woods are full of snow, to my...
Seems to have turned into a pretty normal season here on Cabot Mt. Still lots of snow, tree wells opening up in the sunny spots. This week forecast looks great. Sap running great today, and clear at...

Tractor supply sells them for 389 new.
I've seen some on craigslist in MA that are food grade for 125 used.
How do wholesalers measure if you are bringing them drums that might be 40 degrees.
Yesterday I dropped to about 1%, run slowed a bit but still very clear, buds are swelled pretty good . Sadly I think today is it for me, can't wait for it to be over , but sad to see another season...
Yesterdays run was great, nice and clear. Today ran good but getting cloudy, smells fine and hanging at 2 %. Looking at the forecast I think 2 maybe 3 more runs. Might be my best and I missed the...

I have my 2 by 7 slightly off center in my 12 by 16 sugar house, with no issues. I did it so my smoke stack would be straight Its probably 2 foot in the rear to 1 foot in fount..
[QUOTE=Bellehollow;396607]Not required as pro cons are self priming, but highly susceptible to damage when run dry. I would say highly recommended running a feed pump from what I have seen on here....
Are feed pumps required when using procon pumps or can they be gravity feed successfully?
