Snow on the ground makes for a good run, or at least that is the hope. 60's on tuesday.
Thanks, and good luck to you and all of the sugar-makers out there!
Just collected 35 gallons, YTD=85, and am boiling away.
I collected 29 gallons from 90 buckets, and am boiling right now, looks like a good week to sugar.
I Tapped 59 today, about 10 or so on the edge of the field were running, I will tap the remainder tomorrow, hoping to catch an early run. James

I finished off 22 OZ from 14 gallons of sap, a 81:1 ratio, usually higher than this, but maybe it will go higher.
Tapped 12 more, and collected 8 gallons of sap today. 42 0 F
I tapped 60 today all on buckets, temp for the high was 35 degrees, and about 20% were running.
Collected 1.5 gallons from 60 buckets, so I'm done.

Put in 35 today, so all 60 buckets are hung. No sap today, too cold, not enought sun.
I tapped 25 today, sap was running real good on trees with a sun exposure.
