what did they advertise it to do? a standard 2x8 oil depending on pan size syrup and flue running between 3-5gal of oil should be rated to boil between 30-60 gph
I see in the video you had the arch with fire brick did you cover the with ceramic blanket? if not that will slow your time to boil a fair amount having to heat all the brick
They do need a good supply of oil to make good vacuum but they also need to have a clean exhaust/reclaimer if they get plugged and have no where to go with the air they pull in they won't make vac.
