We finished taping yesterday also. Sap was running a bit, temperature is starting to cooperate. Possible snow storm coming mid week. Have a great season.

Best year for us here also, this past week we had more sap than we could store. we will be finishing for the season on the weekend. Time to move on to other things.

We made about 3 gallons on the weekend, not running so good this week, looking better for next week. Sap is sweeter then last year, tested at 2.6 this weekend.

22194If your stack is that hot, your loosing heat up the stack. if you can make this damper on your evaporator and install your stack on it you'll keep a lot of the heat under your pan where it needs...

Pretty good season for us also, we're all done for this year, ended up with about 30 gallons of liquid gold.

We are doing not to bad here, we got about 12 gallons done last weekend. We'll have another 5 to 6 hundred gallons of sap for the coming weekend.

Looks like mid march for us to in my area, at least 3 feet of snow in the woods, I started shoveling my main lines last weekend, some of it was under a foot of snow.

Just started putting our taps in this weekend, got about 350 done another 75 or so to finish tomorrow nothing flowing yet to cold in our area, but things are looking good for next week, at least...
