We use 50 -60 taps on buckets homemade arch there is a few folks close by that use tubing. Gathering not to bad I can get a 4 wheeler next to the trees. We make 16-18 gallons a year.
Tapped in Upshur county 26 buckets pulled 43 gallons yesterday and 70 gallons today. Looking forward to a great season.

We batch boil gather all week and boil 150 to 200 gallons on Saturday. Our last batch had a different smell and taste, we didn't do anything different then before. Sap is stored in fridge at 35...
Finished with another 4 gallons and 1 pint yesterday. sugar a little low great flavor
Another 2 3/4 gallons done. a bit to warm to be by a fire but all went well.
Boiled on Saturday ended up with 9 1/2 quarts 13057
The weather will shut them down but we still got 130 gallons of sap the last two days, so we will be able to boil again this weekend. Should get another 3 gallons.
First batch finished. A little dark wonderful flavor. 195 gallons of sap turned into 4.75 gallons of syrup. should of been over 5 gallon but I messed up on filtering, boil and learn.
