Hello, I have a half dozen canning jars of syrup that I'd like to transfer into "maple syrup" jars.
Can I simply pour the syrup into the new jars and recan it? Or do I have to reboil the syrup,...

Apprehensive the season may be a short one.... not many days ahead under freezing...

Coming out of a very warm spell in New England. 2+ days of 60 degree temps makes me wonder if the sap in my buckets is good anymore....Any thoughts? Is there a rule of thumb when it comes to this?
