Cut up 3 trees that fell on my 5/16 gravity lines. End hook pulled out, but other than that no visible damage. 10" of snow in the woods.
Nice enjoyable 20 degree day in the woods.

That's what I will do then with my drops and taps for buckets. But how about my 5/16 gravity lines, no vacuum. Replace taps yearly? Drops biannual? Thanks.

Exactly, Also you wouldn't want any kid touching an uninsulated box. Another benefit, you will get a much better boil keeping that heat inside.

With drops going into buckets, is it still preferable to replace taps and drops opposed to trying to sanitize? I'm only doing a couple 100 buckets but still want optimal flow.

    One more drop question.

When replacing drops and tubing on lines, do you replace the T also or do you just replace the drop and tap/spile/spout? If you only replace the tap and drop, how do you remove tubing from the T?

    40" Drops to buckets.

I realize you can buy straight drops, but they are twice as expensive as what I can cut myself out of a spool.
My problem is, at 40" long, they retain the shape of the coil. For the most part it...

    Taps and drops.

I know I have read this before and I know there have been studies. Should taps be changed every year and drops every 3rd? forgot best practice. These are on gravity, not vacuum.

I love mine so much that after the first year I bought another for the next year and added 200 taps. I did a quart short of 60 gallons last year. I have the RB 15.
  25. Quart and pint decanter. Where are you getting this year?

I probably need 30 cases of each.
    Thanks
