I have been in the commercial mowing business for 17 year and have used almost every thing on the market for zero turn mowers in my opinion the Ferris mower is the one I would stay with it has...
supply and demand not many people want or need the large ones would be my guess
I am having the same problem with a welch 1397. I am not sure what the fix is yet
Could some one post a link to the Cornell charts that you speak of it would be greatly appreciated. I looked on there web site and could not find them. Thanks
I had 1.4 and 1.5% last weekend NOT good at all but better than nothing at all
Spud did you pay him to say that? LoL
I use one pint to 25lbs of venison sausage. Real nice maple flavor i would recommend it.
I believe it is only used equipment and association jugs that are not included. I could be wrong on that but I'm sure that the candy machine is included in the sale
Done. Thanks for all you share with us.
the container must be filled all at once with syrup at 180+degrees and sealed while still hot
looking to move from a dairy pump to high vacuum. Water is not an option that is near by. There is potential that I will have 1250 taps on this system. What are my options for vacuum pumps
If I had to put a price on it I would charge $15.00 per pound. If you consider how much work it is to shoot a deer.
Ty have never said anything to me about buddy or off flavored syrup being any less in price. I guess I just figured that is what commercial syrup was(buddy or off flavored)
The lowest price Bascom's quoted me less than a week ago was $1.75 per pound for unfiltered commercial syrup.
Glad to hear it was a good your for you. We had a good year as well should boil for the last time tonight and think I will break the 500 gallon mark
Just finished for the night tomorrow should be my last boil maybe Monday if the vac. keeps pulling it in.
I saw that ad in New Hampshire for $28.00 at that price you could sell it bulk at bascom for more money med.amber at 2.70 a pound x 11 pound to a gallon is $29.70 per gallon
Have you put new spouts on your line or are they the original spouts? The older your spouts are the less sap you will get atleast that is how it has been for me so I atleast put new seasonal spouts...
Hi Bill glad to here you are having a good year thisat it this year
just finished earlyest in three nights
collected 550 gals. yesterday and another 660 today with vacuum the only thing running.
Is that $55.00 for a face cord or is that for a full cord (128 cubic feet 4'x4'x8'). Sounds like a face cord 4'x8'x16"
That was funny. But I was wondering the same thing.
My Taps on Vacuum did't ever do anything today and I thought they would have
Had a guy stop by while i was boiling the other night and while i was boiling he asked " don't you have to put suger in this stuff"
