If ifs just a storage tank and not a transport tank, cut a hole in the top, that's what I did. Then you can get in and clean it out, if you don't wanna cut a hole in the top I would do what village...

That pump has 100' of head max and then your only getting 90 gph, and with the 1/2" ports you will get a lot of restriction with the small inlet and outlet and if you use small pipe like a 1/2" one...

I use lap. Rigid for everything, if it wasent so expensive I might go back to leader 30p, but I really like lap. Rigid, spefically the green tubing

i put a vac gauge at the end of my mainlines, its not exactly "at the tap hole" but its about as close as you could get without spot checking
I have a gast dry vane pump, it does pull high vac, it's 8 cfm. Not sure what model it is but I would look into one of those, mine was given to me, but they can be found pretty cheap
