Honda makes a little 1.5" pump. Works great we pump sap 2000' with it.
How big of kettles you use and how long does it take to heat syrup to 190 degrees?
Hello everyone, iam looking into purchasing a 40 gallon steam kettle to heat syrup for bottling. Looking for any pros and cons.

Hello everyone,
I haven’t been making maple sugar for the past year and have been drying it on pans with a dehumidifier. But I can’t get it as dry as I want it, how is everybody drying there...
We made 865 gallons on 1300 taps, best ever for us and highest sugar content ever. sugar started at 2.3 and went as high as 3.2 but stayed 2.9-3 for whole season till end it dropped to 2.7.
I can tell you that a sugarbush a mile down the road taste different then ours.
I currently have a MES releaser with 1300 taps coming into it at 27-28” vacuum. Pump is a 1/2hp 10gpm 3 phase and we are pumping it 2800’ with a 60’ elevation rise. Works wonderful and wouldn’t go...
We have a MES and absolutely love it.
I have used a dry barrel before and it takes alot longer to get the right flavor out.
Hello everyone,
Is anybody having a issue with there smartrek system reading the data from the cloud?

We run our flue pan valve wide open and the syrup pan maybe only a quarter open.
Last year i started using Star San. They say its no rinse but i always end up rinsing it out.
Milwaukee brand one.
I fill my bottles weather it be glass or plastic right to the top, install cap and lay on its side for 30 seconds and have never had problem with mold on top. I have had issues with the flip top caps...
No problem! have fun
In my area of north central Wisconsin the going rate is .15 per point per gallon, so 2% sap would be .30 and 3% would be .45 per gallon
Without a doubt a R.O
I Had no luck finding any videos of the unit in operation. I really thought about the cdl machine but the price turned me away and i purchased a hobart mixer. I have made about 50 pounds of sugar so...
Not really! Some are tapping already.
Hi everyone, I have a gold metal econo floss machine currently for making cotton candy and looking for higher production so wondering what everyone else's experience has been on a good machine.
...
When your ready to go on a much larger scale i can get you in touch with a fella that will come out walk your woods flag trees for running mainlines and all that good stuff.
Should be no reason for anybody to call you names, we are suppose to learn from one another. Iam currently running 1300 taps on a 1" wet dry system
We had same issue and following year bought a sealed front from Lapierre
I cant say anything bad about lapierre, i have a 600gph machine bumped up to 900gph machine with second membrane and take my sap up to 21% in a single pass.
