I'm in Sand Lake and got roughly 21 gallons on 70ish taps today. Looks like this weekend might be better for a run.

We were finally able to get out and boil today. Is anyone else worried about their sap spoiling due to the temps? Any ideas how to keep it cool for the next week?

Looking at a Honda wx10 or a Generac CW10K pump. Will these pumps burn up if they run dry? (if they finish draining a 55 gallon barrel and I'm 100' away checking on a tap or something).

I've only made sugar once on accident. My first year. It was the coolest thing ever. I poured what I thought would be syrup into a mason jar and as soon as it hit the glass it turned into sugar. ...
