I have a 2x4 with leader pans I put a valve between the front and back pans. Works good I clean the front an after each boil, makes for good light syrup...
Do you think 3.5 inches pass the insulation would be ok? Thanks

I would like to make a bubbler for my 2x2 drop flue pan. can I make it out of hard copper and solder it? how large should the holes be? should they blow down or up? would a garden pool pump be ok?

run water in your back pan that will push things into the front to finish, do not drain the back pan with a fire in your arch.
make sure your pan is good and level, if it is just a little off it will mess you up.
