thought it was just me trees have more wisdom then we do ,just when you think you have them figured out ,when I was tapping in late February it was 25 degrees and the sap was flowing ????

same here thought today was going to be the day hardly ran on vacuum and buckets didn't run at all , the trees know we have colder weather comin :(

tapped in 488 on snowshoes rough going vac running repaired some leaks 21" vac about 190 gallons in the tank looking good still need to tap another 150 or so hopefully this weekend time to fire up...

just checking in on maple trader , been real busy upgrading the sugar house and adding more trees to the sugar bush that's on vacuum ,thinking about taping we use cv's the snow isn't too deep and...

well I started taping Monday around 100 in with 3.5 hours on snow shoes ,hard going this year 500 to go ,pace yourself and enjoy the woods !

Was wondering if you guys have any Ideas on hanging 1 1/2 line in this cold weather we need to put out 1200 feet .. its round now need to get it straight before February :o

Things are looking good here picked up aroud a thousand gallons of sap so far saps been at 3% making light to med amber !

Started the season 300 taped 350 to GO .many tap holes were wet at 24 degrees and WINDY?? Well off to the bush setting tanks getting ready good luck to all drill drill drill

stopped at webb on my home from work today in windham they are getting me in some grey mainline comin from vermont store i trhink it was 198.00 for 1000'3/4 not bad $ i never have used grey hope...

collected 4043 gallons of sap so far. and have made 92 gallons of syrup, and sap still coming from the waterford trees almost out of bottles!!! and No more wood!

we had a great season 85 gallons in bottles trying to get to 100 gallons will see what the next few days will give us vac still pulling a little and trees in waterford still dripping clear sap 2%...

Put out 100 more in waterford finished up vacuum system in harrison started her up 25" of vac no leaks ! No sap though lines still frozen !! That puts us at about 375 taps now 100 more to tap sunday...

well spent last weekend and and a couple of nights putting vac system together almost ready to move it down to the sugar bush :) we will start taping this weekend hope to get 400 in by monday and...
