Hahaha!!!!
All done here in Jackson too. For the first time in my short sugaring career my holes have dried up. I was hopeful for a push at the end to get my gallons up, but not in the cards. Usually by now...
:lol::lol::lol:
Very nice!!
Good to see you back Don. Now, put on your waders and go get those buckets!
Same here!!
I got my yard trees tapped after work last night. 33 of my 70ish taps. I will get my woodlot trees done tomorrow.
48 gals yesterday, 100 gals today!!
Well done Don!!
Nice!!!!! I need one of those!
I was supprised to see that there are quite a few syrup makers from Jackson County in the "where are we from" thread. What area of the county are you guys from?
I run about 70 taps and boil in...
Still sloooooow for me. Getting about 22gals a day on 70 taps. My woodlot trees are still sleeping......or dead??
30 taps in yesterday, 40 or so to go today.
Looking a week and a half out the temps still don't look right. Its going to be a short run I think. You may already have all the wood you need this year Don.
There is going to be a syrup season this year, Right????
Jason from Jackson. Looking forward to spring!
25 gallons of syrup for me, from 70 taps, my best year.
Good luck with the surgery Don. I hope all goes well and you heal up fast.
My 300gal sap tank is full to the brim and I have 24gals in buckets. I'm taking the day off from work tomorrow to...
Ha! I have the same problem. Now just have to get my wife to boil by herself and see my side of things. Good plan!
76 gallons on 70 taps today. It feels good to have some sap in the tank again.
The last two days I picked up 24, 34 gallons and then 40 today off of 70 taps. I have 150gal in the tank and first boil is tomorrow!!
I picked up 48 gallons from the 70 taps I put in a week ago in NW Jackson Co. Broke 2 small plastic buckets while dumping out the ice. Gotta wash up a couple more before the run starts this week. ...
What did you get?
Same thing happened to me two years ago when I built my fuel oil tank evaporator. That was a bad year, guys were saying it was the worst in 20 years.
The good news is you got...
Say it ain't so. The weatherman could be wrong....................But it doesn't look good.
Summed it up pretty well.
Glad to know I'm not alone.
