Slight freeze last night, Got all those slabs cut up and in the shed, Ray tapped and plugged into the releaser the new taps in hill ,,buckets-gravity not doing much at all,thought it would run harder than it did today,Hoit road is really slowing down (south face),,Had to take a nap this afternoon,,pretty tired,,better now,,back from checking the pumps,,have 1000 gallons that I am going to boil now,,1000 in the woods now, will boil that and whatever runs tonight tommrow,,TIME TO MAKE IT STICKY!!!

Littel run today-up at 8AM, got sap in Hill,,boiling at 11,,done at 9PM,,1.3 sugar,,24 gallons,,,,,LONGHAUL,,,Funny how it runs on days like today with HIGHVAC on north slopes,,will sell syrup and boil tommrow,,,,,got 2 more loads of nice slabs today,,,,was awfully warm today...The futcher is uncertian and the end is always near...........SLEEPFASTTIME,,,

Parker I was on rt 11 today at about 10:00am and I stoped at your tanks. Not bad 1/2 full and still runing. It did't freez last night so this is a gift from the maple gods.

I JUST picked up about 175 gallons of sap that ran in the last 24 hours. Not bad for no freeze since last tuesday night.
Still making high-end Dark Amber. Up to 82 gallons so far. Still hoping for 100 gals. The ice is going in the small ponds but no peepers yet.

Parker’ by the way your pump isn’t broken. I saw sap was running good without it so I shut it off!!!!!
