My first Maple Candy

I wanted to learn how to make Maple Candy before the season, so that it would turn out when I did it for the Grandkids. The recipe I used is very similar to making fudge, which I do.

I purchased a litre of syrup from my neighbour who makes it, so it would have a similar taste to what I would make. I followed this recipe https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/14...e-maple-candy/ It came out perfectly.

Tomorrow I have what I have named is Maple Monday. I have a number of friends coming over to sample it. One person who could not make it tomorrow, tried it tonight, and he said:” That maple candy is like crack!! Spectacular!” So I think I had a successful first attempt.
