I did add some stainless steel wire mesh to hold the blanket. It has warped from the heat but is still there.
Maybe this will give you some other options for your design and build.

This sure looks like an awesome upgrade. Anyone making these to sell for those of us that don’t weld? To fit a 2x leader front.
