finished my second batch this morn I hate bottling first time used the 1 liter whisky bottles long necks messed up first one filled to fast and it foamed then couldn't get any more.. in oh well freebie

My trees have already stopped!We need some nights below freezing. It's stayed right around 0 the last three nights.
So how are sap yields so far for everyone?
Mine not so hot 60-65 gallons total for 46 taps and just moved up to 56 last week.
Yesterday was a good day. Two trees are still dry, but I got about 16 gallons out of my other four trees. Hope it continues!
70 gallons from 75 taps yesterday
That's excellent. We were locked up tight here with the cold.
Ya same was -5 all day didn't get a drop high hopes for today and tomorrow
