Just an update on my draw off valve. It works awesome! I ordered the valve recommended by Bricklayer and I couldn't be happier with the performance of the draw off. Thanks everyone for the help. Hopefully we get another 1-1/2 weeks of sap.
I’m glad it’s working for you. I noticed as well with the motorized ball valves that they like a good soak in vinegar every now and then. Nitre builds up on the ball and may cause grief. Most ball valves come apart at each end so that the ball can be taken out. Take it out and soak in vinegar over light or for as long as you can in between boils. Will make a huge differenceQuote:
