I wish I had enough to boil.. Got a little over 7 gallons from 15 of my 46 taps... Apparently I have some slow starters.
Glad to hear I'm not the only one that is getting below average sap yeild. Here's to hoping things open up this weekend! Dutton ON.
I have had about 60 taps out for the last few days, and have a little over 100 gallons of sap to show for it. First boil will be tomorrow.
Dutton? We're practically neighbours!
I got 10 gallons on 14 taps today. Two trees are still bone dry. One massive tree with four taps accounts for half of it.
80 taps in--75 gallons sap collected; first sugaring-off tomorrow.
A buddy of mine cleared a path into the field to get a a patch of sugars so I'll be putting in an addition 22 taps on top of my 46Attachment 11067
That's great news Mark!
Put 125 buckets out a few days ago, and collected about 100 gallons of sap today. Planning on boiling Monday but really need more sap.
I should add sugar content about 2.25%
